And so were the churches established in the faith

Hello! This week was pretty good and pretty busy. We had a great zone conference down in Cauayan, followed by some exchanges with our zone leaders the next day (during which, I proceeded to achieve my daily goal of killing the zone leader with me because we ended up walking for about 10 hours straight since we still have no bikes, all the areas we visit are about an hour walk from the center of town, and no one was available for the first little while, giving us little time to sit and take a rest haha, fun times). We've also been able to have a lot of success meeting with a lot of part-member families, many of which came to church yesterday and/or last week, and we're excited to continue working with them and helping them build a stronger connection to each other and to God through Jesus Christ and His gospel. We were also able to meet with Aida and her husband, Benito, and she will be preparing for her baptism on March 11, so some prayers for her will be appreciated (and her...

After this I beheld...a great multitude

Hello! This week has been pretty great, but again, because of time restraints haha, I will have to make this email a bit short. Last Sunday (yesterday), was perhaps the best Sunday we've had, I've never seen so many people at church before here in Mallig, both in regards to people that we are teaching, members of the Church that are less active in coming to church, and part-member families that we have been meeting with and teaching, so it made us really happy to see everyone there and to see the fruits of our labors over the past few months. Now, the goal is to keep that attendance consistent and moving forward for all of these people and all of those that we're trying to teach. Although we will have to move her baptism date to March, Aida keeps on trying to come to church and has a great enthusiasm to keep learning and progressing towards baptism and becoming a member of the Church. We also invited Karen (the girlfriend of a member and comes to church with his family) ...

Hello, everyone! Sorry that I haven't written an email in a while, but I've got just a few minutes to write this before I go to bed haha, my weeks/P-Days have been pretty busy lately. This week has been pretty good. It's a new cycle, a new transfer, and I am staying in Mallig with Elder Secillano, and....we are both training as a trio, which should be exciting and interesting haha. (I'm also still the social media/technology head for the mission, which continues to keep me busy as well haha.) Our trainee is Elder Lewis, he's 20 and from Oregan, which is pretty neat since that's where my trainer, Elder Schumann-Curtis, is from too. It seems like it will be an interesting experience to train an American while in the Philippines, such as being the automatic English-Tagalog translator for the companionship and for everyone else we're with haha, and it makes me grateful for the lessons I learned and experiences I went through when I first arrived in the Philipp...
