Elder Parker Enger Mission Letters

Hello, My week was one of those busy/not busy weeks haha. We had a lot of Christmas activities, and we tried contacting as much as we could (busy), but we had those curfews two nights in a row, and few people were available because of the holidays (not busy). It was good though, it was a fun week. On Tuesday, we had district council with one of the Spanish districts in our zone since we still didn't have a district leader after Elder Crowton left to Mozambique for his original assignment lol. It was fun, and we got some lunch afterwards, so it was a party. After that, we were mainly trying to contact all day, and a couple people who said we could stop by that evening unfortunately didn't answer. It started raining again later that evening, which always completely soaks the lower half of my body haha (and for some reason, it always starts to downpour as we reach the furthest house that we planned to stop by from our apartment, perfect timing lol). Hello, How are you guys doing? Hopefully great as we approach Christmas this week, it's always a fun and exciting time. It's probably a little odd getting two emails from me almost right after each other haha, but it was a good and busy weekend. Friday and Saturday were essentially the same because we were biking everywhere to invite as many people to our Christmas service as we could haha. One of our members voluntarily created a bunch of flyers for us to give to those we're teaching, so we were excited and hoping the physical invitation would help remind everyone to come to church. On Friday, we went up to the north part of our area, invited a few people, and talked with one of the sisters of our ward up there, and after chatting a bit, we gave her a flyer for the program so that she could invite a couple of her friends that we've been teaching. Hello, This week was pretty interesting; we were simultaneously busy yet not busy at all lol. We went to nearly every house we could and called a ton of numbers (thus busy), but a lot of people weren't home/didn't answer or our lessons fell through (thus not busy), so unfortunately, there probably isn't as many things that'll entertain you this time around haha. On Tuesday, we traveled to the northernmost part of our area (about a 30 minute bike ride lol). A guy Elder SC and I started to teach (Brutus) was working on his car, so he said to come back next Tuesday. Besides that, almost no one was home or answered their doors lol, but we were able to say a couple prayers, which was nice. Thankfully, a lot more people answered the doors or the phone on Wednesday haha. Most of them were busy, so we just scheduled another time to come back, but we were able to say some prayers again, which is always great.
