Justin & Jacie

Fellow associates, First of all, I'd like to apologize for not sending an email last week, but now you get the pleasure of getting not one but two emails today! How exciting! This email covers what I would've said last P-Day, and my other email is the report for this week. Last week, Elder Schumann-Curtis and I were mainly focused on Justin and Jacie (the couple we're getting ready for baptism), and we were pretty busy, which is always good as a missionary haha. On Tuesday, I gave a lesson about diligence at district council: what it is, how it's a Christ-like attribute, and why it's important to always be diligent. I was told about it the night before haha, but it was still good, my lifetime experience of procrastinating my assignments prepared me for this last minute assignment haha. We later threw a football around with Aiden (Justin/Jacie's eldest son), and then we answered Jacie's questions about temple marriages, the Spirit World, priesthood and its...

Greetings, My week was awesome; we focused a lot on Justin/Jacie like last week. Tuesday was District Council/Taco Tuesday, and later, we had some dinner with their family and helped Justin pick up some furniture in his truck. We addressed her concerns and testified of the truthfulness of both the Book of Mormon and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and then we decided to read 3 Nephi 11 when Jesus Christ appears to the Nephites. The Spirit was super strong as we read that chapter; my companion let me read the whole thing, and I could actually feel the Spirit working through me and...

On Wednesday, I got to the terminal, and about 20 Elders and Sisters were already there. All of us except for one were packed onto the same flight haha, so it was pretty neat. It seemed like most of them already knew at least someone in the group and that they had been talking to each other for a while, so I just hovered at the edge of the group like my classic self haha. Then, right before we started boarding, Elder Trythall from my MTC district met up with me. His flight to St. George was at around 1/1:30, but his flight from California got to Utah around 8, crazy haha. On the flight, me and one other Elder were on either side of someone else (also, the seats were different than what the itinerary said, but I still got a window seat haha), and luckily, the other Elder was talkative and had a good conversation with the guy. Then, we got California and drove to the mission office. We got lunch, and I met with the president (for some reason I was first and I don't think we followed ...
